Special Morning Assembly at NHLPS
Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bhopal, organised a special morning assembly on 6 November 2026 to mark Diwali celebration, based on the theme ‘Mission Green Diwali – Let the Earth Smile’.
The assembly aimed to sensitise students towards environmental protection and encourage them to celebrate a safe, pollution-free and eco-friendly Diwali. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by Vedic chants and prayers.
A thought-provoking skit presented by the students highlighted the harmful effects of firecrackers on the environment, animals and birds. It conveyed the message that the true spirit of Diwali lies in spreading happiness, sharing with the needy and showing compassion towards all living beings. A graceful dance performance on the devotional song ‘Ram Aayenge’ added a spiritual touch to the celebration.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Mrs Amrita Motwani extended her Diwali wishes and encouraged students to celebrate responsibly by avoiding firecrackers, conserving natural resources and sharing their joy with others. She emphasised that even small individual efforts can make a meaningful contribution towards protecting the environment.
The assembly concluded with a renewed commitment to celebrating an eco-friendly Diwali filled with kindness, compassion and the spirit of giving.
