The students of Class IX at Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School (NHLPS) organised a vibrant Science Magic Mela, where they showcased simple science experiments blended with fun, magic-based activities and interactive demonstrations.

“Scientific aptitude is not just learned from books, but awakened through experience and inquisitiveness.”

Creative and engaging stalls such as Optical Illusions, Balloon-Powered Tricks, Density Towers, and Magnetic Puzzles captured the interest of everyone present.

To make the event even more exciting, students conducted science-based fun games like “Guess the Reaction,” “Magic with Light,” and the “Floating or Sinking Challenge,” which encouraged active participation and enhanced learning through hands-on experience.

The mela prominently highlighted the importance of STEM-based projects in students’ lives by developing their scientific aptitude, scientific temperament, and inquisitiveness. Such experiential learning opportunities promote critical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity, and innovation, empowering students to explore scientific concepts beyond textbooks and apply them practically.

The event was successfully conducted under the guidance of the Science Teacher, Ms. Ranjitha Phulwani, and was highly appreciated by the Principal, Vice Principal, teachers, and students, as it beautifully combined learning with entertainment and strengthened the school’s commitment to promoting STEM and inquiry-based education.
