Career counselling sessions are regularly organised to guide students in making informed academic and professional choices. These sessions are conducted for students of Classes IX to XII, especially at the crucial stage when they have to select their streams and plan their future careers. The primary purpose of organising career counselling sessions is to help students understand their interests, abilities, and aptitude. Many students often feel confused while choosing between Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams. Through these sessions, expert counsellors, educationists, and career advisors provide clarity regarding different career paths available in each stream. Students are introduced to both traditional careers such as engineering, medicine, law, and civil services, as well as emerging fields like data science, digital marketing, aviation, entrepreneurship, and creative arts. The sessions also aim to create awareness about the wide range of career opportunities available for students with different talents and strengths. Aptitude tests and interactive discussions are conducted to help students identify their skills and personality traits. Individual counselling is provided to students at the time of stream selection so that they can make decisions confidently and responsibly.
