With the blessings of Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahibji and guidance of Rev. Siddh Bhauji, Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School remembered and celebrated the birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswatiji in the morning assembly.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and offering floral tribute at the lotus feet of the great soul. Mr. Manish R.K. Jain, Principal, NHLPS, Ms Amrita Motwani, Vice-Principal, NHLPS, teachers and students of the school were present at the pious occasion.

Mr. Manish R.K. Jain, Principal, NHLPS advised students to take care of their health so that they can stay fit and contribute towards the betterment of the country and the society as a whole.

Jahnvi Gurbani, Student of Std. V, threw light on the life and sacrifices of Swamiji. Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the devoutly soul was born on 12 February 1824, whose original name was Moolshankar. He was the Indian social leader and the founder of Arya Samaj. He worked towards the upliftment of Hindu religion and struggled to remove the social evils prevailing in the society. He advocated that God is one and is present everywhere. He solved many differences prevalent in the caste and creed. His preachings were accepted by Gandhiji as he worked for the betterment of the mankind. He constituted to build strong foundation of education by setting up Gurukuls for boys and girls. He campaigned 'Give the world the best you have and the best will come back to you'.
