A Student Council is a representative structure of the students and for the students only, through which they become involved in the affairs of the school, working in partnership with school management, staff and parents for the benefit of the school and its students.
The student council helps share students ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and school heads. They engage in and organize almost all the activities of school.
One or two student representatives per classroom are also the members of student council. They help to maintain discipline and work in tandem with class teachers and pass on requests, ideas and complaints from students of that class to the student council
