71^st Republic Day Celebration at

Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School and

Mithi Gobindram Public School

Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School and Mithi Gobindram Public School celebrated India’s 71^st Republic Day under the guidance of Chair person, Shaheed Hemu Kalani Educational Society, Rev. Siddh Bhauji. Spreading and sharing patriotic warmth, all gathered on 26^th January 2020 at Mithi Gobindram Public School playground. The significant day was chosen for Sports Day Prize Distribution ceremony of both the schools.

Chief Guest Col. Naryan Parwaniji, Joint Secretary, Shri K. L. Ramnaniji, Management Member, Shri Gopal Girdhaniji, Management Incharge, NHLPS, Shri Manohar Vaswaniji, Principal Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School, Mr. Manish R. K. Jain and Vice-Principal, Ms. Amrita Motwani, Principal Mithi Gobindram Public School, Mr. Ajaykant Sharma and Vice-Principal, Ms. Rita Gurbani, Co-ordinators, teachers and students of both the schools in huge number were present on the occasion.

Chief Guest Col. Narayan Parwaniji hoisted the National Flag. Cold winter morning was marked with patriotic zeal and enthusiasm as the dignitaries and students of both the institutions sang the National Anthem.

The programme commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp and floral offerings in the lotus feet of Maa Bharti, Maa Saraswati and Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahibji.

The flamboyant march past of NCC troops and the school band of both the school students was inspected by Chief Guest Col. Naryan Parwaniji followed by National pledge taken by NCC Commander, Shaan Yadav, MGPS.

The chief guest of the occasion, Col. Narayan Parwaniji emphasized upon an important message for our youth. He said that the freedom which we enjoy due to supreme sacrifices of our war heroes cannot be taken lightly. Each individual is to contribute to protect ourselves from our adversaries, no one from outside will come to protect us. For this our youth has to be mentally and physically strong. Regular Physical Activities will help in achieving this goal.

Joint Secretary, Shri K. L. Ramnaniji urged all the students to develop patience and discipline in their lives. For this purpose he gave a clarion call to all for developing good eating habits and keeping the environment clean which will help in building a healthy and wealthy nation that is away from diseases.

Principal, NHLPS, Mr. Manish R. K. Jain earlier welcomed all the dignitaries and wished all a very Happy Republic Day. He gave a message to the students that they should always be loyal towards the country even if they are posted at high positions in different government or private jobs.

Students of NHLPS left the audience spell bound through various displays showcasing their skills in Aerobics, Judo, Skating and hula hoop.

This was followed by Prize Distribution Ceremony. The prizes were given away to the students for their excellent performances. NHLPS House Trophy was won by Sadhu Heeranand House and runner-up trophy by Swami Dayanand House. MGPS trophy was won by Swami Vaswani House and runner-up trophy by Swami Dayanand House.

The chief guest was honoured with a Shawl and Shriphal as a gesture of gratitude according to the custom of the society. Vote of thanks was proposed by Principal, MGPS, Dr. Ajaykant Sharma.

Finally National Song- Vanda Mataram was sung by all present, filling every heart with patriotism.

The students dispersed after distribution of sweets with the image of the fluttering tricolour in their minds.
