TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION

 

Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School celebrated 57th Teachers Day on 4th of September, 2019 at Sant Hirdaram Auditorium.

The programme commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp and offering floral tribute at the lotus feet of Maa Saraswati, Maa Bharti, Sant Hirdaram Sahibji and Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. Dada K.H. Lakhani and Dadi Rita Lakhani, the donors of School from Hong Kong were the chief guests of the occasion. The guests were offered a floral welcome in the pious presence of Rev. Siddh Bhauji, Chairman, SHKES, Shri Hero Gyanchandani, Vice Chairman, SHKES, Shri A. C. Sadhwani, Secretary, SHKES, Shri Mahesh Dayaramani, Secretary JSS, Shri K.L. Ramnani, Joint Secretary, SHKES, Shri Manohar Vaswani, Management Incharge, NHLPS, Mr.Manish Jain, Principal, NHLPS and Ms. Amrita Motwani, Vice-Principal, NHLPS.

Rev. Siddh Bhauji enlightened the students about the importance of teachers in the lives of students. He told the students that the parents and teachers are the real gurus in a student's life. He inspired the students to express their gratitude towards their mothers. He motivated the students to achieve heights in life which would be a real tribute to their teachers.

Shri A.C. Sadhwani, Secretary, SHKES, gave the welcome speech and wished all the teachers a Happy Teachers Day. He shared with the students and teachers that the school was established by Dada Lakhani in the fond memory of his parents. He expressed his pleasure on the recent achievements of the school and stated that it is a matter of pride that the school has become one of the best schools in the town and is known for its academics and values. He also informed about the funds raised by the school for the flood victims.

Shri Mahesh Dayaramani, Secretary, JSS, introduced Dada Lakhani and his philanthropy works to the students and teachers. He praised the immense contribution and the intention behind his charitable and noble work. He motivated the students to draw inspiration from the charitable work of Dada and adopt this practice as a part of their life. He also quoted Bhauji's words, 'When the purpose is pure, success is sure' to motivate the students for the same.

Disha Rajpal- class XI B, Kanchan Dixit - class X A, Manmeet Kour- class X A, Swasti Bansal- class VIII C, Rhythm Asnani- class III C, Muskan Shewakramani, the school captain expressed gratitude towards their teachers and accepted that without their presence, their life could not take the shape of a good human being.

Dada Lakhani shared that helping others gives him immense satisfaction. He wished all the teachers a very Happy Teachers Day. He expressed his joy and said that Navnidh School is blooming and blossoming because of the hardwork of its teachers. He shared that there is no substitute to quality education as it changes numerous lives. He said that a teacher nurtures and shapes the personality of a child. He acknowledged the fact that the values imparted by the teachers could not be learnt from any book.

Mr. Manish R K. Jain, Principal, NHLPS, expressed his gratitude towards Rev. Siddh Bhauji, Dada Lakhani and Dadi Lakhani for their constant support and blessings on the school and the students. He announced the Best Student Award in four different categories which is given on the basis of Attendance, Academics and Participation in Co- Curricular activites. Niyati Bharwani, Ishita Singroli, Arti Lohar and Vanika Keswani were the recipients of the award in Primary, Middle, High School and Higher Secondary category respectively. The students were honoured along with their parents on stage. Following the award ceremony, the teachers were honoured and blessed by Rev. Siddh Bhauji, Dada Lakhani and the Heads of the institution.

Dada Lakhani and Dadi Rita Lakhani were honoured with Shawl and Shriphal as a token of gratitude by Rev. Siddh Bhauji. Dada Lakhani announced a sum of Rs. 1100 for every teacher as a token of his blessings.

Vote of Thanks was proposed by Shri. Manohar Vaswani, Managment Incharge, NHLPS. He expressed his gratitude towards Dada and Dadi Lakhani for their esteemed presence and blessings.

The programme concluded by singing of the National Song.

The programme was successfully compered by Arti Lohar and Hansa Kewlani of Class-XI under the guidance of Ms. Komal Jaggi, teacher, NHLPS.
