Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School envisions the students to come ahead and communicate ideas and thoughts which plays significant role in functioning of the school system.           Academic session 2019-20 ushered the formation of a new council body with a promising bunch of students with immense potential and outstanding leadership qualities imbued in them. Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School on the occasion of Oath taking ceremony showcased a whole gamut of colourful programme and drew the attention of audience.

Newly selected student council of NHLPS took oath of office on 20^th July, 2019 in school’s auditorium. The Chairman of Shaheed Hemu Kalani Educational Society and a staunch of Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahibji, Rev. Siddh Bhauji, Shri A. C. Sadhwaniji, Secretary, SHKES, Shri K. L. Ramnaniji, Joint Secretary, SHKES, Mr. Manish R. K. Jain, Principal, NHLPS and Ms. Amrita Motwani, Vice-Principal, NHLPS graced the occasion with their presence.

          The auspicious ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp and offering flowers in the feet of Sant Hirdaram Sahibji, Maa Bharti & Maa Saraswati. Incessant mounting of the flames symbolizes the virtue and holiness.

          School Principal, Mr. Manish R. K. Jain formally announced the names of the council members and congratulated them. They were conferred with badges, sashes and flags. Oath was administered to the council members by Shri A. C. Sadhwani. Muskan Shewakramani and Arti Lohar respectively took the oath as the school captain and vice-captain of the school. It was followed by the swearing in the House Minister, Literary Minister, Sports Minister, Cultural Minister, Discipline Minister, Youth Club, Sadhbhawna Club Minister, Science and Environment Minister. Council members thanked the school and promised to come up to the expectation of school. Shri A. C. Sadhwaniji congratulated and appreciated the students and told them to be honest and impartial in discharging their duties. He also exhorted them to uphold the values and positive approach.

          Rev. Siddh Bhauji showered his blessings on the newly formed cabinet for the smooth and proper functioning of the school. It is the duty of the council members to address the problems and grievances of the school with honesty, sincerity, responsibility and perseverance and hard work. School council should work in such a manner that it should lead other students not only to study well but also keep themselves fit and fine. He motivated the students to read newspaper, as it will enhance their personality and help in understanding their responsibilities towards themselves, school and society.

          Shri K. L. Ramnani, Joint secretary, SHKES asserted the students that everything depends on firm determination. He said everyone is responsible in the mission of success of the school. He advised them to be role models and perform well in every sphere of school life which will help in the progress of the school. They should be very systematic and disciplined and must respect the oath of office which they have taken.

          The school captain, Muskan Shewakramani on behalf of the student’s council, promised to perform her duty with dedication and fidelity. She said that the council will lead the school by staging an exemplary performance.

          The ceremony was held zeal and zest. The atmosphere was charged with emotions of responsibility, commitment and an overwhelming sense of duty.

          Vote of thanks was proposed by school vice-captain, Arti Lohar. The programme was compared by Ms. Dipti Bisaria, PGT Maths.
