Guru Purnima Celebrated in
Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School
The festival of Guru Purnima was celebrated on 16th July 2019 with intense fervour and enthusiasm in Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School.
The programme commenced with Malayarpan and lighting of lamp at the feet of Maa Saraswati, Maa Bharti and his Holiness Sant Hirdaram Sahibji.
The chief guest Shri Mohan Manwani, Vice-President of Bharat Vikas Parishad graced the occasion with his presence. Vice-President, SHKES, Shri Hero Gyanchandaniji, Secretary, SHKES, Shri A.C. Sadhwaniji, Management Incharge, Shri Manohar Vaswaniji, Principal, Mr. Manish R. K. Jain, Vice-Principal, Ms. Amrita Motwani were also part of the occasion. Some senior teachers and co-ordinators were felicitated for their hard work and performance by Bharat Vikas Parishad. In this series Ms. Rekha Kewlani, Ms. Ravindra Kaur, Ms. Rini Sunil, Ms. Tanya Kewlani and Ms. Saba Hadi received the honour. The programme included with Guru Vandana sung by the students of (class 6 & 7). The milieu was mesmerising with the chanting of shlokas followed by speeches of Sneha Hayaran (XII-B) and Paridhi Ramtani (VIII-B) who threw light on the importance of teacher’s role in everyone’s life. Skit presentation and Guru Vandana dance was performed by the students of Class-VIII.
AISSE & AISSCE toppers were also awarded by Bharat Vikas Parishad for their performance in Board Exam, their names being Jagriti Bulchandani, Vanika Keswani and Meena Vidhani.
Principal, Mr. Manish R. K. Jain emphasized on the importance of Guru Shishya relationship. He said Guru should touch the life of the students and students should be such who touch the heart of teachers. He gave a clarion call to the teachers for being path leaders for their students.
Management Incharge Shri Manohar Vaswaniji said Guru is the one who take students on the path of success. He told the students to respect and have trust on their teachers.
Vice-President of Bharat Vikas Parishad Mr. Mohan Manwani spoke about the social work and other benevolent projects of the Parishad, whose aim is to restore Indian culture and tradition.
The teachers were honoured and felicitated by offering with a rose as a token of the good work done by them.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Vice-Principal, Ms. Amrita Motwani followed by National Anthem.
The programme was successfully compered by students Harsha Kewlani (XI) & Muskan Shewakramani (XII).
