NAVNIDH HASSOMAL LAKHANI PUBLIC SCHOOL organised ‘DEAR’- A Reading Programme

Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School conducted a reading activity titled ‘Drop Everything and Read’ on 9^th October 2018 in NHLPS assembly ground. The activity was conducted for the classes I to XII. 9^th October was the specified date for conducting the programme in all the Public and Govt. Schools as per the guidelines issued by the governor of M.P. State. Ms. Anandiben Patel.

The motto of the programme was to inculcate the habit of reading books among students and make them understand the importance of books which are more authentic source of information and knowledge than internet. It was the most considerate effort to averse the students from devoting their previous time on social media.

Along with students, Res. A.C. Sadhwaniji, Secretary, SHKES, Mr. Manish R.K. Jain, Principal, Ms. Amrita Motwani, Vice-Principal, NHLPS, all the teachers and staff members also participated in an hour long activity. The enthusiasm and zest was clearly reflected among all the participants through their candid involvement in the activity. Every participant was provided with a book from the fully resourced library that treasures thousands of books of different genres.

Vote of thanks was proposed by the Principal where he applauded the efforts of Librarian, Ms. Kajal Assudani and Assistant Librarian, Ms. Anjana Mehra and expressed hope that such programmes shall be conducted in future too.

The programme was carried out successfully & concluded with singing of National Anthem.
