Santji's Birthday Celebration

The birthday of Sant Hirdaram Sahibji was celebrated with immense zeal at the assembly ground of Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School on Thursday 20 September 2018. The porgramme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and floral offerings to Maa Saraswati, Maa Bharti and seeking the blessings of His Holiness Sant Hirdaram Sahibji in the presence of Rev. Siddh Bhauji, Chairman, Mr. A.C. Sadhwaniji, Secretary,Shaheed Hemu Kalani Educational Society , Shri Manohar Vaswaniji, Management Incharge, Mrs. Amrita Motwani, Vice-Principal, Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School, coordinators, staff and students. Students recited mantra and prayers on this occasion and gave the ambience, a religious vein.

Rev. Siddh Bhauji expressed his gratitude towards the Almighty on this pious occasion. He motivated the students to take a nutritive diet everyday and necessarily add salad in their meals. He recalled and revised the selfless services of Santji. In his address, he proposed the importance of having politeness in behavior to add on to one's personality. He also encouraged the students to imbibe the moral values of feeding birds, worshiping God, respecting elders and teachers to attain the goals of their lives and reach the pinnacle of success.

The students presented Bhajan in the praise of Santji's devotional life towards the upliftment of the downtrodden. Students, through their speeches, informed everyone about the great and compassionate acts of Saintji during his life time for the progress of the society. They enviciated his journey of life and the institutions and organisations set up by him for the upliftment of people. The whole environment echoed with his mantra, that the young, old and infirm are all replicas of God on earth. Thus we must serve them to attain complete peace. Students were advised to adopt simple attire, to control their behavior and to respect elders.

This was followed by Sukhmani Sahibji ki Ashtpadiyan.

The compering and coordination was successfully done by Mrs. Aditi Khandkar. The programme came to an end by paying tribute to the motherland, by singing National Anthem.
