Independence Day Celebration

 Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School salutes the nation on the 72th Independence Day. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Col. Vivek Jain ji, Col. Parwaniji, Chief Guest, Shri Hero Gyanchandaniji, Vice-President, Shri A.C. Sadhwaniji, Secretary, Shri Gopal Girdhaniji, shri Bhagwan Babaniji, Management Member, Shri Manohar Vaswani, Management Incharge, Manish R.K. Jain, Principal, Amrita Motwani, Vice-Principal, Staff Members, NCC Cadets and the students which was followed by rendition of the National Anthem.

The programme opened up by taking the blessings, lighting the lamp and offering at the feet of Maa Saraswati, Maa Bharti and His Holiness Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahibji by the all dignitaries.

          The cultural extravaganza was marked by the wonderful inter-school skit competition “Bharat Ki Veerangnayein” where all the students performed well and filled the feeling of patriotism in everyone.

          Speaking on the occasion, Col. Vivek Jain shared his views on the supreme sacrifice by the great martyrs who have given their lives for the sake of freedom. He also spoke about the significance of the Naam (Self Respect), Namak (Loyalty and Integrity) and Nishaan (Nishaan of Flag on Paltan). He advised the students to become ideal citizens of the country. This day remind us every year that freedom is sacred and citizens must do everything to ensure that it shall not be endangered.

          The programme concluded by the declaration of skit competition results in which Radhakrishnan house (Saffron house) stood first. The comparing of the programme was successfully done by Ms. Dipti Besaria. Judges of skit were Shri Gopal Ghirdhaniji, Shri Manohar Vaswaniji and Shri Bhagwan Babaniji.
