Academic Proficiency Felicitation Programme to acknowledge the academic excellence of students was held on 04.04.2018 in Sant Hirdaram Auditorium.  The programme commenced with  the lighting of ceremonial lamp and floral offerings to the idols of Maa Bharti, Goddess Saraswati and His Holiness Sant Hirdaram Sahibji. The programme was marked with the gracious presence of Col. Narayan Parwaniji, Chief Guest, Rev. Siddh Bhauji, President, Mr. A.C. Sadhwaniji, Secretary, Mr. Hero Gyanchandaniji, Vice-President, Mr. Gopal Girdhani, Management Member, Shaheed Hemu Kalani Educational Society, Mr. Manohar Vaswani, Management Incharge, Mr. Manish R.K. Jain, Principal, Ms. Rita Gurbani, Vice-Principal and Ms. Amrita Motwani, Head-Mistress, NHLPS.

Rev. Siddh Bhauji made students aware of the importance of taking proper diet for staying fit and healthy. He informed students about various plans of the management like arranging for tours & excursion for the students to different places to enhance their practical knowledge. He appealed to students to utilize their time and energy constructively rather than being distracted by social media. He also put forth the importance of reading newspaper as it acts as a treasure for acquiring the required knowledge for the competitive exams.

 Col. Narayan Parwani in his address encouraged all the students to do hard work to achieve the realm of success. He insisted on studying since the day one. He motivated students to attend the school regularly, neglecting the weather conditions and other hardships because apart from bookish knowledge, students learn so many useful things in school. He stressed on the importance of maintaining good health.

Mr. Manohar Vaswaniji encouraged students to have determination and faith in themselves to move towards academic excellence. He said that students should spend initial years of their life in studies with whole hearted devotion and concentration to attain the best future for themselves.

 Mr. Gopal Girdhaniji motivated the students to be more focussed on learning rather than running after marks. He said that students should acquire more practical knowledge, having relevance to everyday life.

Mr. A.C. Sadhwaniji emphasised on acquiring command over English language as it is the medium of instruction and learning. He said that the mental ability of a person sharpens if he is proficient in more number of languages. Students should focus on conceptual clarity of subjects. He also asked the students to be regular and punctual to school as they are the essential keys to lead them towards the path of success. He said that students should be able to find out their own weakness and work upon it to have better academic result.

Mr. Manish R.K. Jain in his welcome speech expressed his happiness over the achievement of students and he also encouraged other students to work hard to get better result next time.

 All the children with academic excellence were awarded with prizes.

 The programme was compared by students- Vanika Keswani, Gunjan Khatri, Roli Shrivastava & Hansa Kewlani of Std. X & XII. The grand event concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Rita Gurbani and by singing National song.
