The Earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth!

Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School celebrated World Earth Day in the school Assembly to make it's students aware of their planet's significance. The sole purpose was to make them understand that it was started way back in 1970 by Gaylord Nelson- Father of Earth Day to invigorate more cognizance and friendship for the Earth's physical condition.The students' attention was drawn towards the burning issues of climate change, pollution, deforestation and loss of bio-diversity which is harming the earth.

Besides this, they were suggested how they can contribute by planting a sapling, cleaning the streams or beaches, creating banners and origami projects to register their complaint against the deterioration of the earth.

The student gave the message that the earth demands our attention and it becomes our moral responsibility to take care of our home because a small step or initiative taken today will help in building a safer and more sustainable planet for future generations.
