Kargil Vijay Diwas which falls on 26th July every year was commemorated by the students of X to XII class of Navnidh Girls school to pay homage to the martyrs.

Rev Bhauji, Chairman of SHKES, Col. Narayan Parwani(Retd.) attended the programme alongwith the Principal R.K. Jain, Vice Principal Mrs. Rita Gurbani, and the staff members.

Rev Bhauji , in his address urged the girls to focus on the inner beauty instead of outer beauty. He informed  the students about a website www.bharatkeveer.gov.in where one can donate money for the welfare of Indian soldiers and strengthen them financially. This money will also help the Indian defence service in getting euipped with modern weapons. Rev. Bhauji told the students that he had been donating Rs. 5000/- every month through this application and has this satisfaction that he was serving his nation through this small contribution.He motivated the girls to co-operate in this noble cause and inspire others also.

Col. Narayan Parwani through a video clipping showed the difficult condition through which the soldiers had to live and shared with them in which adverse conditions the brave Indian soldiers defeated the soldiers of Pakistan and saved the honour of the country by winning the Kargil war in 1999.

Mrs. Rita Gurbani welcomed everybody and said that we should feel proud of being Indian.

The programme was successfully compeared by Ms. Geeta Yadav who said that we will have to show our love for our country by respecting our tradition.

At the end, the students offered a floral tribute to the martyrs and took a pledge that they will serve their country till their last breath.
