Rakshabandhan, a festival which shares the bond of love between a brother and a sister, was given a new and rejuvenating definition in this pandemic by the students of Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School.
They made Rakhis at home for their brothers using the threads and beads. The girls gave a message to save the environment by tying Rakhis to the trees in their neighbourhood. The young girls helped their mothers by preparing sweets at home and advised others too, to avoid the consumption of market sweets.
The spirit of Rakshabandhan was thus, celebrated in a new colour, helping and protecting one and all.
