A
briefing session on "Points to be kept in mind while appearing for Std. XII
board exam" was conducted in school auditorium on 6th Feb 2020
for the students of 2019-20 session in the presence of Rev. Siddh Bhauji,
Chairman, SHKES, Shri Hero Gyanchandani, Vice Chairman, SHKES, Shri A.C.
Sadhwani, Secretary, SHKES, Mr. Ashish Thakur, Director, Sant Hirdaram
Institute Of Management, Mr. Manish R.K. Jain, Principal, NHLPS, Dr. Charanjit
Kaur, Principal, Sant Hirdaram Girls College, Teachers, Parents, Students and
College Staff.
The programme commenced in traditional way by
lighting the ceremonial lamp at the lotus feet of Maa Saraswati, Maa Bharti and
his Holiness Sant Hirdaram Sahibji.
The
purpose of the session was to enlighten all to appear in exam without any
anxiety and tension.
Reverend
Siddh Bhauji, in his address to the parents
suggested them to support their children by providing good atmosphere and
healthy food of their choices at home. The children must secure atleast 60%
marks to compete in any of the competitions. He further added that children
should always remember to pray to god all the times.
Shri
A.C. Sadhwani, Secretary, SHKES welcomed all
and paid gratitude to the parents for their presence and interest shown to
attend the session. Further informing all he said that with the blessings of
Sant Hirdaram Sahibji the results of the institutions are improving day by day.
So is the expectations this year too. For the purpose the parents must help
their children.
Mr.
Ashish Thakur, Director, Sant Hirdaram Institute of Management
guided the students for preparing all the subjects giving equal weightage. He
appealed to the parents to create good ambiance at home for their children.
Dr.
Charanjit Kaur, Principal, Sant Hirdaram Girls College
wishing everyone goodluck for the exam told that the aim of our Institutions is
to create such a youth which is not only good in academics but are good human
beings as well. She suggested the students to keep the date sheet of the exam
on their tables and prepare for the correct subject accordingly.

Manish R.K. Jain, Principal,NHLPSaddressing
theparents of the students made them realize that we all should support our
children to give exams in comfortable way as they are on the threshold of
embarking upon a new journey of life. He suggested the parents to download the
app "Exam Centre Located" to understand the exact location of the
examination center of their wards. Parents should visit the examination center
one day prior to exam. The students must reach to center half an hour before
the commencement of exam i.e. at 9:30am as at 10:00 am entry will be closed.
The students must be very careful while checking their roll numbers displayed
on the board of the examination center and sit at the exact seat allotted to
them. They must write the roll no. properly as guided by CBSE one digit before
their roll no. and darkening the circle at the proper place. He further
suggested that the children must see the programme conducted by our Respected
Prime Minister Mr. NarendraModiji for the purpose of examination and how to
deal with the stress.
He
warned the students not to write or draw anything extra on the answer sheet as
it can be considered a case of unfair means. The students should not waste
their time in preparing the unfair means rather should utilize it for good
preparation of exam.
He
informed the students to carry the admit and ID card of their school is
mandatory, to the center of examination. They must write with blue or royal
blue pen. After getting the question paper, the students must read the
instructions given on question paper and answer sheet both and make the proper
entries so that the result is not withheld. He told the parents that their
wards should carry transparent pouch for keeping their stationery and
transparent water bottles to drink water.
He
reminded the students not to believe in any videos spread by media regarding
mistakes in question paper. If by chance they find any mistake they must email
to the CBSE board keeping the principal in CC.
The
students availing the school bus facility must reach to school by 9:00am
positively. Those who are going by their own conveyance must inform the class
teachers so that others do not waste their time in waiting for them. Parents
were suggested to give their working phone numbers to the teachers so that all
the important information can be sent to them.
The
programme was successfully compered by Ms. HimanshiSabhnani, PGT, Business
Studies. Parents listened to the information given to them eagerly and went
home satisfied.
