Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School celebrated the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, India's second Prime Minister, with great enthusiasm. The event began with a speech by a student,Pallavi Bhadoriya, Grade 10, who spoke about the lasting impact of these two leaders. The speech focussed on Gandhiji's teachings of peace, truth, and non-violence, as well as Shastriji's dedication to the progress of the nation.

The celebration continued with a skit that portrayed India's freedom struggle, emphasizing Gandhiji's principles of non-violence and Shastriji's famous slogan, "Jai Jawan Jai Kisan," which highlights the importance of soldiers and farmers in building the country under the able guidance of Ms. Kirti Mishra, PGT, Biology. The event reminded everyone of the values these leaders stood for and encouraged the youth to follow their example for a better society.

The principal, Ms. Amrita Motwani, in her address, urged students to uphold the ideals of integrity, courage and service to the nation, drawing inspiration from the leadership and selfless contributions of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
