Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School organises a Cultural Programme 'Swaranjali'

Under the presence and guidance of Rev. Siddh Bhauji, President, SHEKS, Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School organised a memorable and colourful cultural programme titled 'Swaranjali' which was presented by the students of classes IV to VIII at Sant Hirdaram Auditorium. The Programme aimed at imbibing moral, ethical, social values in students and getting them acquainted with the rich culture, heritage, traditions and various arts of our motherland. The occasion was graced by the presence of esteemed guest Colonel Narayan Parwaniji, Vice President Shri Hero Gyanchandani, Secretary Shri A. C. Sadhwaniji, SHKES, Management Incharge, NHLPS, Shri Manohar Vaswaniji, Principal MGPS, Shri Ajaykant Sharma, Vice Principal, NHLPS Ms. Amrita Motwani and the parents of all the participants.

The grand Programme began in a traditional fervor by lighting the ceremonial lamp and floral offerings at the lotus feet of Maa Bharti, Maa Saraswati and Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahibji followed by the welcome of all the dignitaries and singing of society anthem.

Rev. Bhauji in his address emphasised on the importance of education and being self-dependent for a girl child. He said that distraction due to social media is like an addiction, having evil impact on the children's raw mind. So parents should keep them away from mobile phones. He motivated the students to have a set goal in life and work hard to achieve that goal. He stressed on the adoption of modest behaviour, decent dressing and soft language as inherent part of their personality traits. A person is recognised as a good human being through these traits only.

Chief Guest, Colonel Parwaniji, in his address stated the importance of knowing the culture and heritage of one's own country. He appealed all the parents to take their children to visit places of cultural, religious and historical importance so that they feel proud of their country and seeds of patriotism and devotion get sown in their innocent mind.

Shri A. C. Sadhwaniji, in his welcome speech made audience aware about the motto of Shaheed Hemu Kalani Educational Society i.e., achieving excellence in academics and imbibing pious sanskaras in children to make them worthy citizens of the country.

Commencing on a traditional note with Guru Vandana, the captivating programme ferried the audience on the journey of astounding experience by presenting recitation of self-composed poems by the students of Mithi Gobindram Public School, devotional and Sindhi traditional songs and classical and patriotic dances. The programme also included four skits based on the depiction of harmful effects of mobile phones, faith and devotion towards God and patriotism of Indian soldier Jaswant Singh who sacrificed his life during India-China war.

The mesmerising Programme was a clear manifestation of continuous hardwork and tireless efforts of Mr. Jagdish Vishwakarma, Ms. Poornima Patel, Ms. Charu Tiwari, teachers of music and dance department along with the support of Dr. Archana Gupta, Ms. Geeta Yadav and Ms. Anita Kashyap, teachers NHLPS.

The last attraction of the programme was a presentation by school Orchestra group which left the audience completely spellbound. All the participants were awarded with a trophy for their outstanding performance.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Manohar Vaswani, Management Incharge and singing of national song.

The Programme was successfully compered by Ms. Unnati Joshi and Swasti Bansal, students of VIII class under the guidance of Ms. Komal Jaggi, teacher NHLPS.
