Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School celebrated Basant Panchami on 1st February with great zeal and enthusiasm. This festival, marking the arrival of the spring season, is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the deity of wisdom and knowledge.

The celebrations began with a Saraswati Puja in the school temple, where students and teachers offered prayers, seeking blessings for wisdom and intellect.

A special morning assembly was conducted by the students of Dr. Radha Krishnan House, featuring a variety of cultural performances. The students of Classes VII & VIII delivered an enthralling and energetic dance performance to welcome the spring season. Additionally, the students of Class VIII gave a presentation  highlighting how Basant Panchami is celebrated across different states of India, while emphasizing its cultural significance.  This presentation reminded us of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. The students of Classes IV, V & VI captivated the audience with a melodious rendition of Saraswati Vandana, creating a divine and mesmerizing atmosphere. Principal, Amrita Motwani, in her address said that this festival encourages us to embrace the positive energy of the season, foster a sense of regeneration and encourages us to be ready to accept the changes in our life with positive affirmations.

The event concluded with the distribution of prasad, leaving everyone with a sense of devotion and happiness.
