On January 21, 2025, a special program was organized to commemorate the martyrdom of Shaheed Hemu Kalani, who valiantly laid down his life for India's freedom from British rule.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and garlanding of Shaheed Hemu Kalani's portrait. Students from Swami Dayanand House presented a poignant skit and musical tribute, offering a glimpse into the life and struggles of the young martyr, who made the ultimate sacrifice at the tender age of 19.

The program also acknowledged the achievements of students who participated in the prestigious "Festiva De Literatura" organized by Delhi Public School, Neelbad. The festival featured an array of exciting competitions for students of Grades I to VIII, held in both online and offline formats.

Twenty-three students from our school enthusiastically participated in various events, showcasing their exceptional talent and creativity. Notably, our students achieved:

- 2nd Prize in Poetic Melodies, the ballad recitation competition (Grades IV & V)

- 3rd Prize in The Tale Trail, a puppet show competition (Grade III)

Certificates were awarded to the participants, and winners were honored with trophies.

Additionally, Soumya Dadwani of Class 6th B received special recognition for her remarkable achievement as her Article was published in the Champak Bal Vigyan Patrika January,2025 edition.

The event concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired by the courage and contributions of Shaheed Hemu Kalani and the exemplary achievements of the young participants.
