An Insightful Session on Learning Domains By Ms. Kirti Tolani

Shaheed Hemu Kalani Educational Society organized an insightful session on the three domains of learning on 20th September 2024, attended by Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School, Mithi Gobindram Public School, and Children’s Hope India Girls School. The session, led by Ms. Kirti Tolani, Senior Trainer at Madhuban Publications and a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner, focused on the Affective, Psychomotor, and Cognitive domains, emphasizing their integration into lesson planning for enhanced learning outcomes.

Ms. Tolani introduced seven steps to optimize a 40-minute class, encouraging a shift from hard work to smart work. She advocated for tailoring lesson plans to the specific needs of students, aligning with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023-24 and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which prioritize holistic development through communication, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. Teachers were also urged to implement 21st-century Bloom’s Taxonomy to foster skill development in students.
