National Sports Day

Happy national sports day to all!

Every year 29th August is observed as national sports day all over India. It is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legend Major Dhyan Chand, who is also known as a great magician of hockey.

This year we conducted innumerable activities for the students on the virtual platform. The students sent videos of the activities in which they enthusiastically participated with their parents. Judo , hulla hoop, races and many more recreational activities were held .

We are delighted to see the interest of students and their parents in such events.

This day reminds us the importance of sports and physical fitness in our lives. We must promise to ourselves that everyday atleast half an hour should be indulged in physical activities on regular basis by us , then only our purpose of the sports day celebration will be fulfilled.
