With the blessings of Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahibji and motivation and guidance of Shrddhey Siddh Bhauji, on 5th of March 2020, Special Assembly was conducted by the  Principal, Mr. Manish Jain, for the students, teaching and non-teaching staff in Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School to bring the awareness and to take measurable precautions against CORONA VIRUS DISEASE.

It was informed that news is spreading about the people who are suspected with the Corona Virus in India specially from Delhi, a part of a travel group and some cases in Kerala too. But the Indian authorities work to contain the corona virus outbreak, the first thing to do is to avoid panic. There are a number of steps one can take to reduce risk of getting infection. The most effective and protective measures are as follows:

1. Cleaning hands regularly.

2. Properly covering mouth when one coughs and if tissue is used, it should be disposed of quickly and safely.

3. Throat should be kept moist by sipping water frequently. 

4. To maintain social distance, avoid touching face, avoid to contact eye, nose or mouth. Mask can be used while visiting a crowded place.

5. If one is sick or having even mild symptoms such as headache and a slight runny nose, it is better to stay at home till one gets better.  If one has fever, cough and breathing difficulties, doctor should immediately be consulted.

It was requested to spread same awareness in surroundings specially neighbors and relatives. The Vice Principal also exhorted upon the teachers of science department to conduct a project or an activity on the same.
