Patriotic Drama Presentation at Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School

Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School organised a Patriotic drama presentation on 13.12.18 at Sant Hirdaram auditorium under the guidance of Rev. Siddh Bhauji, Chairman Shaheed Hemu Kalani Educational Society. The programme was organised to mark the importance of 'Vijay Diwas' which is observed on 15^th of December. The Chief Guest of the programme was Commander Ms. Bhakti Gokhale. Mr. A.C. Sadhwaniji, secretary, Mr. Hero Gyanchandaniji, vice-president, Mr. Manohar Vaswaniji, Management Incharge, Mr. Manish R.K. Jain, Principal, Mrs. Amrita Motwani, Vice Principal of the school, Ms. Shweta Chaurasia, ex-student were also present to grace the occasion.

The programme commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp and floral offerings to Goddess Bharti, Goddess Saraswati and Sant Shiromani Hirdaram Sahibji.

Rev. Siddh Bhauji motivated students to set a high goal in their life. He also insisted on working hard towards this direction by following the habit of regularity, punctuality and dedication. He appealed all the students to make proper utilisation of time to achieve their aim as it is the most precious thing in human life. He also encouraged children to adopt healthy eating habits and stay away from junk food to remain healthy and focused.

Mr. Manish R.K. Jain, in his welcome speech introduced the chief guest Ms. Bhakti Gokhle and informed the students about her life, skills and achievements.

Chief guest Ms. Bhakti Gokhle, in her address informed students about the bravery of six women officers of Indian Navy who worked in the project "Navika Sagar Parikrama" a sea expedition, through videos.

She told students about some of her tough tests she went through her selection in armed forces and how she coped up with all the ordeals bravely.

To encourage the children to overcome their fear and have belief on themselves, she stated many stories and acts of bravery by Indian women like Avni Chaturvedi, the first woman fighter plane pilot, Hema Das and Arunima Sinha the first amputee to climb the Mount Everest.

The address by chief guest was followed by patriotic drama presentation based on the life story of Ms. Avni Chaturvedi, the first woman fighter plane pilot. The audience could be seen completely spellbound and filled with patriotic fervor during the drama presentation. The drama was prepared under the guidance and direction of Dr. Archana Gupta TGT Hindi. It was assisted by teachers- Ms. Mrinal Deshpande, Ms. Poornima Patel, Ms. Seema Tare, Ms. Harsha Chandwani, Ms. Hemlata Arora and Mr. Jagdish Vishwakarma.

Secretary Mr. A.C. Sadhwaniji proposed a vote of thanks to all those who directly or indirectly made the programme a grand success.
