TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION

Teacher's day was celebrated with immense zeal and verve at Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School in Sant Hirdaram auditorium. The programme commenced with lighting of lamp and offering the flowers in the lotus feet of Maa Bharti, Goddess Saraswati, Sant Hirdaram Sahibji and to the portrait of Sarvapalli Dr. Radhakrishnan by Rev. Siddh bhauji, President Shaheed Hemu Kalani Educational Society, Mr. Hero Gyanchandani, Vice-President, Mr. A.C. Sadhwani, Secretary, Hemu Kalani Educational Society, Mr. Manohar Vaswaniji, Management Incharge, Mr. Manish R.K. Jain, Principal and Ms. Amrita Motwani, Vice-Principal.

Rev. Siddh Bhauji showed his gratitude towards teachers and reminded us of our first gurus- our parents whose contribution cannot be ignored, we should be grateful towards them. Their blessings do miracles in lives. The respect to teachers is always paid by those who understand the importance of education. He quoted the examples of 'Rishi Dadhichi's' sacrifices. He also motivated students by giving examples from the lives of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, our former president and ex-Prime Minister Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee who became great due to their faith in their teachers. He gave valuable tips to girls for achieving good marks and asked the girls not to waste their time and money in useless entertainment.

Mr. A.C. Sadhwaniji congratulated the best student awardees and their parents. He appreciated the contribution of teachers and motivated the students to excel and reach the heights of success & bring laurels to the institution also.

Mr. Manohar Vaswani, Management Incharge mentioned about the determination and honesty. He suggested students to value time.

Mr. Manish R.K. Jain, Principal showed his gratitude towards Rev. Siddh Bhauji by calling him 'Teacher's teacher' and mentioned the contribution of Secretary Mr. A.C. Sadhwaniji and Management Incharge Mr. Manohar Vaswaniji. He congratulated the parents of best students and explained the criteria for selection.

Vote of thanks was proposed by by Ms. Amrita Motwani, Vice-principal. She encouraged the students to listen and pay respect to their teachers as they are doing their work day and night. She thanked all the members for contributing to make the event successful.

Students of all classes presented speeches and showed their gratitude towards their teachers. They thanked teachers for their immense contribution in their life.

The porgramme was successfully compered by Yashika Sadarangani and Urmi Nema of Std. XI.
