Dance-drama program on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan

NHLPS organised a dance-drama program on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan festival. The main aim of the program was to throw light on the significance of this festival, simultaneously laying emphasis on the importance of this festival in the present context.

While addressing the students, Rev. Siddh Bhauji stated that girls are capable of protecting themselves and others also but they should be alert of the people around them. He further said that students should be stronge emotionally so that they can understand the depth of the relations also, He suggested that instead of taking a gift from their brothers, they should take a promise that they will respect each and every girl and stand for their honour. This is the only way to give a right direction to the society.

The students from VI to X class presented skits depicting the importance and significance of their festival. This was a joint efforts of the music and the dance department.

The Vote of thanks was proposed by Aarti Lohar of XC. The program was successfully compered by Dr. Archana Gupta.
