Newly selected Student Council of NHLPS took oath of office on 10^th August 2017 in school’s auditorium. The chairman of Shaheed Hemu Kalani Educational Society and a staunch of Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahibji, Rev. Siddh Bhauji, Chief guest Col. Narayan Parwani, Management Incharge Mr. Manohar Vaswani, and Vice Principal Ms. Rita Gurbani graced the occasion with their presence.

            Rev. Siddh Bhauji showered his blessings on the newly formed cabinet for the smooth and proper functioning of the school. It is the duty of the council members to address the problems & grievances of the school with honesty, sincerity, responsibility, perseverance & hardwork in studies. School council should work in such a manner that it should lead other students not only to study well but also keep themselves fit and fine. He encouraged the students to read newspaper and literature related with great personalities and eminent leaders, it will enhance student’s personality and help in understanding their responsibility towards themselves, school and society. He motivated the students by giving away skipping rope, ball & ring to them. Every students should promise oneself to work in such a manner that it will take the school towards the zenith of success.

            Colonel Narayan Parwani congratulated and appreciated the student and advised them to perform well in every sphere of school life which will help in the progress of the school. Progress graph of the school should always ascend and for this all students must consider themselves as an integral unit of school. Council members are the role models, they should lead by example and must respect the oath of office which they have taken.

            Mr. Manohar Vaswani asserted the students that everything is achievable in this universe, it depends on firm determination and positive approach of the person. He said everyone is responsible in the mission of success of the school and hoped that this council will set on example for others.

            The auspicious ceremony commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp and offering flowers in the feet of Almighty. School Principal, Mr. Manish R.K. Jain formally announced the names of the council members and congratulated them. The council members were honoured with badges, sashes and flags. Oath was administered to the council members by chief guest of the occasion, Col. Narayan Parwani. Ms. Ritika Mulani and Ms. Shraddha Verma respectively took the oath as the School Captain and Vice-Captain of the school. It was followed by the swearing in the House Ministers, Literacy Minister, Sports Minister, Cultural Minsters, Discipline Ministers, Youth Club, Sadhbhawna club minister and Science and Environment minister. Council members thanked the school and promised to come up to the expectation of school.

            The school captain, Ms. Ritika Mulani on behalf of the students council, promised to perform her duty with dedication and said that, students should always try to learn, dream and contribute in progress. They will lead the school by staging an exemplary result.

            The atmosphere was charged with emotions of responsibility, commitment and an overwhelming sense of duty. Vote of thanks was proposed by school Vice-Captain, Ms. Shraddha Verma. Ms. Anjali Thawani and Ms. Monika Meharchandani did the compering of the programme under the guidance of Ms. Komal Jaggi.
